Benetti Turnkey Smart Design Custom Series at Monaco Yacht Show
The oldest Italian motor yacht builder may also have just become the fastest. Announcing the Smart Designed Custom Series in the Benetti Now category at the Monaco Yacht Show, the venerable Benetti Yachts has developed a way to go from first pencil sketch to completed yacht delivery in one year. That’s twelve months from chatting about preferences and possibilities to delivering an owner’s turnkey dream, ready to cruise the world.
Scheduled to begin construction in the next few months, the Benetti Now projects embrace yachts over 50 meters constructed of steel and aluminum, to be built in the Livorno facility. The builds will replicate the semi-custom model used in Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard. Based on predefined naval platforms, extensive customization will make each yacht quite distinctive due to naval architecture by Stefano Natucci and interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon.
This new business model offers attractive financial benefits with a short timeline while maintaining the tradition and quality inherent in the Benetti brand. Delivering excellence, innovation, and quality, rewarding owners with a unique yacht that reflects individual preferences, the program satisfies both owners and brokers the world over.
Currently four models of the Smart Designed Custom Series are planned: the 50-meter B164, the 58.6-meter B192, the 65-meter B214, and the 73-meter B240. The 50-meter and the 65-meter as the first to enter construction, with the 50-meter version meeting the requirements of yachts under 500 Gross Tons.
Founded in 1873, Benetti is known for the 95-foot to 140-foot Class Range composite construction yachts, and Custom aluminum and steel yachts over 147.63 feet/45-meters. The Azimut/Benetti Group retains the status as the world’s largest private capital luxury nautical group, with headquarters in Viareggio, and offices in Leghorn, Fort Lauderdale, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
