Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show Day 3
How can one improve on a beautiful blue sky, gorgeous water, stunning architecture and 80º temps? By spending the third day of the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show touring chic yachts, sipping Champagne, and nibbling on delightful tidbits, as I did during the MYBS on Saturday. Crowds were pleasantly thick, with a variety of buyers on the hunt as I began boarding the yachts on my list for the day.
Stepping on board Papi du Papi, I found it very spacious, clean, and contemporary. Again, testing it with my 6’10” height, she was better than most. Light, white, and bright with orange accents, the interiors are lively and inviting. The striking dual staircases, port and starboard, transcend all decks, making it easy to move about. With six staterooms, Papi welcomes large groups, entertaining them with a stunning entertainment system announced with Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
Katya, in contrast to many of the yachts I’ve seen this show, was truly traditional in the most elegant vein. Her interiors were rich with dark woods, sumptuous fabrics, and lush textures. Designed for the more formal guest, tuxedos and gowns are easily imagined as proper for dinner on board this magnificent yacht.
La Pellegrina, with a cream and white palette, light woods, and silver accents, proved a breezy, modern yacht. Within 50 meters of well-designed space, she easily accommodates 12 guests, with room to lounge about gracefully. Ultra chic interiors, adorned with beautiful art, and a full range of amenities put this yacht near the top of the list, including the cabin heights. The view from the owner’s suite? A 180º horizon of pure bliss.
Again, traversing the show on the water taxi brought the golden hull of Khalilha into view, and reviewed the magnificent Moonraker along the way. Each one of these shows provides me with excellent information about which yachts are right for each client. It would be both pleasure and privilege to assist you in selecting just the right yacht for your next private luxury yacht charter.
