Pershing’s Mistral: Speed, Elegance, and Exceptional Style
Sporting the fine lines and gorgeous exterior sweep of Italian naval architecture, Pershing’s motor yacht Mistral paints a beautiful image as it skims across the water. A nimble yacht at 35.37m/116 ft, with speed and style, Mistral is unmistakably Pershing, making the perfect marine vehicle for a luxury yacht charter in the Western Mediterranean. Triple waterjet propulsion engines drive her upwards of 50 kts, yet she calmly cruises at 30, showing off the extravagant windows, open decks, and outdoor spaces adorning her silver carbon hull. She is graceful, yet modern, and classically elegant.
Launched in 2005, Mistral continues to turn heads as a divinely designed Italian often does, making a 2011 refit an easy task to move her again to the top of many lists. Accommodating 10 passengers and 5 crew, Mistral’s full beam king master suite takes advantage of the 7.2m/23.7 ft beam, appointed with minimalist interior style that suggests a privileged passage, enjoying a Turkish steam bath, floating bed, and exceptionally spacious quarters.
By day, Mistral appears to be a chic Italian yacht. By night, however, her club atmosphere dials up disco lighting and a special audio visual system, creating an intimate, contemporary dance party upon a whim, adding special effects from a smoke machine and the entertainment of karaoke, all controlled by custom designed iPads, made to Mistral’s specifications.
Beautiful white leathers, neutral textiles, and light woods, accented by stone and metal finishes create cabin environments of superior design and exceptional comfort. Joining the master on the lower deck, a double VIP cabin, two twins, and a conversion of the master study to an optional Pullman, respect privacy, relaxation, and style.
The expansive, open salon is appointed in white leather, fitted with wood floors and pale paneling, and splashed with abundant natural light. Formal dining space for 12 is sectioned off by a retractable 70” HD TV tucked into a low island. Additional dining, through glass doors in the aft salon, provides an al fresco option overlooking the oversize beach club. Wrap around decks to the foredeck access additional al fresco dining rimmed by a triple sun pad, as well as seating and chaise lounges on the fly bridge.
Encouraging water play, Mistral’s amenities are led by the 14 ft Zodiac tender with 100 HP outboard, water skis, wakeboard, and tow ring, augmented by jet skis and wave runners. Entertainment throughout engages iPod dock, stereo system, satellite television, and DVD disc player.
Fulviodi Simoni interiors, and Feretti Group naval design combine to complete this sumptuous yacht’s list of desirable features.
