The Unconquerable: Luxury Charter Yacht Invictus
Nine feet. That’s 2.7 meters. Or 108 inches. No matter how you slice it, that is the generous measure of headroom you’ll find in the luxury charter yacht Invictus. This exquisite, American-built Delta Marine motor yacht, launched in 2013, is all about space and comfort. That, and the broad, expansive, breathtaking views from oversize and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Translating from the Latin to mean “unconquerable,” Invictus engages families and friends, comfortably cradling 12 guests in 9 sumptuous cabins, while accommodating 20 crew to attend to the details. Large rooms with en suite baths stand ready to take on assignment, leisurely cruising at 16 kts to anywhere within her 5,000nm range. At-speed and at-anchor stabilization are in play as Invictus’ full displacement steel hull prepares to ensure a smooth journey for all.
Six decks are outfitted with delicious details, from the sundeck’s carbon fibre spa pool, engaging bar, casual seating, and al fresco dining areas, to the generous swim platform and abundant water toys below. To speed any whims along, Invictus is equipped with an 8m Nouvrania Chase 27 sports boat, and an exceptional 8.5m/28ft custom tender from Lake Como’s Comitti. Additionally, the craft is suitable for guests confined to a wheelchair, with elevator and thoughtful layout by Diane Johnson Design Interiors.
Sleek exterior styling from Delta Design Group provides chic shelter for lush interiors, including bedding, sofas, linens, and art. Light, neutral color pervades, save for the red and black Parisian nightclub aft on the bridge deck. The master suite, lavishly outfitted with lounge area, dining area, en suite baths, and private office, provides privacy and luxury. Additionally, gated side deck entry stands prepared to signal privacy to crew. Six additional cabins plus two twins, located on the lower deck, are all well-appointed.
A spacious formal dining area aft on the upper deck provides exceptional service for 12 flanked by additional side seating port and starboard. Two satellite dishes served by 22 receivers light up display screens strategically throughout the yacht, embracing broadband and wifi. A cinema with plush theatre seating, a 1 x 12m trampoline, 2 Seadoo G11 SE 155 jet skis, an 8-seat banana boat, kayak, paddleboards, wakeboards, hydrofoil airchair, and snorkel equipment further embellish the list of amenities.
